Thank You Komen Detroit Race for the Cure Participants!

Thank you to the thousands of dedicated runners, walkers, volunteers and supporters who participated in the 27th annual Komen Detroit Race for the Cure® held at Comerica Park. It was a beautiful day of celebration for breast cancer survivors, Forever Fighters and a day of remembrance for those who have lost loved ones. Many were uplifted by the inspiring media stores; energizing music along the Race route and during our ceremonies; wonderful remarks shared by our Honorary Co-Chairs and free hugs offered to each breast cancer survivor and Forever Fighter in the crowd. Through your commitment, we were able to put on a memorable Race event and show once again why Race day is considered “One of the best days in the city of Detroit”!
If you didn’t see the Race results, view the full results here.  Congratulations to all of our runners!
Thank you to our Volunteer Photography Co-Chairs Paula Kaye and Bill Kern for leading our volunteer photographers in capturing another amazing Race Day! Check out the photos taken at the link. Be sure to share and tag us in your pictures too!
